If you really want to check out reviews, here they are (YelpAvvo, and Google). We’d ask you to disregard those. The good and the bad. Why? Because we think they’ve become quite meaningless.

I’ve been selected to the New York City Metro Rising Stars List for Super Lawyers for 3 years in a row. It sounds fantastic, but I’ve no idea what it means. I can, however, buy a prominent plaque for several hundred dollars and put it on my office to impress clients (I won’t.)

I’m rated a “10/10 Superb” on Avvo.com. I’m also a 2015 Client’s Choice winner. I can assure you there are many like me, and this isn’t like getting an Oscar for Best Actor (although that may depend on some lawyers you know).

This isn’t a humblebrag. It’s the way we feel about attorney advertising, and the things clients should actually expect from attorneys when they hire them.

You want an “tough, aggressive” attorney? Move on. We deal with Bankruptcies, NYC home purchase and sales, and small business matters. We’ve never found a need to be “tough” or “aggressive” and, if we did, it would likely cost you more. Want proof? Over the past 9 years, we’ve closed hundreds of Real Estate transactions in New York ranging from $300,000 to $6,000,000 successfully. We’ve filed hundreds of Bankruptcies and erased tens of millions of dollars of debt without so much as cursing at anyone or saying “Do you know who I am ?” We think our clients appreciate the results (which we don’t guarantee, nor could we) we bring, much more than just playing the part of some attorney they’ve seen on TV.

Lastly, we’re likely not going to be the most inexpensive attorneys you speak to. We understand price is an important factor, but our clients typically don’t think it’s the most important factor in selecting an attorney. We may charge more, but we believe our representation brings our clients value. We take a personal interest in every single transaction we close, in every Bankruptcy we file, and every small business we help get off the ground. There will never be a moment where you won’t know what’s happening with your case. We built our reputation on that.

If that’s important to you, we’d be glad to talk.
